Ahimsa Yogini Dinner Party

A beautiful yogi named Carolyn held an Ahimsa dinner party.  It is such a wonderful thing when a bunch of compassionate, like minded people gather under one roof.  The Sanskrit term for this is "Satsang".  A satsang is the company of a higher truth, divine love.  Ahimsa is one of the yamas of yoga, or guidelines to a yogi's lifestyle.  Ahimsa is the first yama and it means Non Violence.
Ahimsa is a compassionate practice of creating the least amount of harm possible to every living thing.  This includes not harming each other, animals, the Earth, etc.  It is a loving practice and a practice of seeing all as one.  One of the easiest ways to practice Ahimsa three times a day is through your diet.  A meat and dairy diet causes great harm to many beings as well as our Earth.  A vegan diet and lifestyle creates the least amount of harm for all beings including your own body.

Carolyn Gunn Strickler was the vegan chef at this satsang.  She devoted so much of her time, effort, love and care to make this dinner great!   Carolyn is an avid yogi and a loving being to all!  She is also an AMAZING cook! She is creating a cookbook and I can not wait for it to come out!  It will be amazing!
